What can a non-surgical nose job fix?

Small changes, made while you watch in a mirror, and adjusted on the spot.

A non-surgical nose job uses precise injections to refine the shape of the nose and balance it with the rest of the face. The patient is awake, watches in a mirror, and sees the change in minutes, where a surgical result takes months to settle. It is not for everyone, and it depends on an injector who understands the anatomy of the nose.

What it changes

Balance, more than size. Small, precise changes to the nose can shift how the whole face reads.

“Sometimes small and precise changes can make a significant difference in the overall balance of the face.”

There is no standard nose to work toward. Shape varies by ethnicity, gender, and genetics, and the plan follows the face in front of him.

How it is done

Step by step, with the patient holding a mirror. If any part is not right, it is changed in the same visit.

“because patients are sitting my chair, I give them a mirror, I do the treatment for their nose in a matter of few minutes and they can see the changes happen in front of their eyes.” “It's a kind of building it step at a time, one step at a time until we reach the level that we want, and that's done.”

Who it is not for

Candidacy is decided at consultation, and it is not offered to everyone who asks.

“It is not for everyone. You have to number one, the doctor who does this really needs to understand the anatomy of the nose, and it is not for everyone. You have to I have to make sure that you're the right candidate for this, and that's why we do the consultations to make sure that you will be qualified for receiving this.”

Surgery compared

A surgical rhinoplasty takes months to show its result. The injection result shows in minutes and can be adjusted.

“Even people who get nose jobs they have to wait for 6 months to see that result. With this, you see it right away.”

After a rhinoplasty that went wrong

A large part of this work is for people who had surgery years ago and have lived with a result they dislike.

“These are patients for that for many years I did it had a bad nose job many years ago and they lived with it for 20 years looking at themselves in the mirror and thinking there is nothing else out there to fix it and because they don't want to get another nose job because the first one was miserable to begin with.”

Risk and who should do it

The nose is an area where anatomy matters, and the person injecting needs both medical and aesthetic judgment.

“Non-surgical nose job is a very intricate, very artistic treatment to do and you have to have it done by someone who really understands the anatomy and who really understands the aesthetics of the face.”

Afterward, avoid exercise, alcohol, and blood thinners for 48 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Is a non-surgical nose job permanent?

No single answer applies to every product. Dr. Ourian explains the expected duration at consultation. The result can be adjusted, which a surgical result cannot be without another operation.

How long does a non-surgical nose job take?

A few minutes of treatment. The patient watches in a mirror and sees the change as it happens.

Can a non-surgical nose job fix a previous rhinoplasty?

Often it can improve one. Many of Dr. Ourian's nose patients had surgery years ago, disliked the result, and did not want a second operation.

What should I avoid after a non-surgical nose job?

Exercise, alcohol, and blood thinners for 48 hours.

Is everyone a candidate?

No. Dr. Ourian decides at consultation whether a non-surgical nose job is right for the patient.
